    Die-Cast Lexus IS F car

Enter 0;5M2; (contains the number “0″) or 0;6,2; (contains the number “0″) as a code to unlock the Die-Cast Lexus IS F car.

Dirt 2 announced.

November 22nd, 2008

DiRT™2 is now being developed by our racing studio for the PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system, Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft® and Games For Windows® LIVE with further editions for Wii™, Nintendo DS™ and PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) system due for simultaneous release in 2009. To be powered by the third generation of the EGO™ Engine’s award-winning racing game technology, DiRT 2 will benefit from tuned-up car-handling physics system and new damage engine effects. It will also showcase a spectacular new level of visual fidelity, with cars and tracks twice as detailed as those seen in GRID. DiRT 2’s garage will house a best-in-class collection of officially licensed rally cars and off-road vehicles, specifically selected to deliver aggressive and fast paced racing. Covering seven vehicle classes, players will be given the keys to powerful vehicles right from the off. In DiRT 2 the opening drive is the Group N Subaru; essentially making the ultimate car from the original game the starting point in the sequel and the rides just get even more impressive. For more information, visit www.codemasters.com/dirt2, where you can find more details on game features and sign up to receive updates!

About the game:

DiRT 2 will feature a roster of contemporary off-road events, taking players to the most diverse and challenging real-world environments. This World Tour will have players competing in aggressive multi-car and intense solo races at extraordinary new locations, from canyon racing and jungle trails to city stadium-based events.

The W.o.W. of me.

November 22nd, 2008

Never thought I would, but I am playing WoW.

I was bored one day and thought I would check what the game is like. Considering that over ten million people are playing it I thought it must be awesome. What You know I actually like it. The only thing that I do not like is the cost involved. Buying the game is only the first step and does not mean that You have the right to play it. You actually have to pay a $16 US a month to play it. Not everyone can afford such an expense.

Right now I am a level 16 Human warrior. And in another realm I am a level 6 human rogue. Thankfully upgrading from a trial player to a full player did not make me restart the whole thing. I also like that You are forced to group up with other players to be able to complete some quests. I, for some reason, thought that it was the perfect game for those who like being recluses, but the teamwork aspect is great. I have teamed up on one mission with four other players and it was hilarious.

For the most part I found that other players are great at helping when I had a question.

This is one of the videos I recorded of the game. I was flying on the gryphon from Stormwind to Westfall. Sadly Youtube conversion produced it in far worser quality than the original. Sorry.

NFS: Undercover impressions.

November 21st, 2008
Buy the game

Well in a good old tradition of NFS series this game is extremely resource hogging. The game does have very awesome looking graphics. It does come at a high cost to resources.

Setting the game to lower graphics does help and the game still looks pretty good. I di notice that while on low graphic setting it makes driving a lot harder with the view set to hood camera. Since the reflection update is very low sometimes seeing the hood makes one feel that the car going in one direction while it actually goes in the opposite direction. Slow motion helps with that.

The game still is, as with the last three, trying to be more of a movie rather than game.

I do like that the game is going back to being what it started out to be. A street racing game. It very much reminds me of the Underground installments. I am once more disappointed that they haven’t brought back the horn and the headlights control. I know that they are unnecessary, but I like blaring the horn like crazy going down the highway.
